Abstract
Nesessity of cell death product utilization is not only response to organism or tissue injury. Alterations of local microenvironment due to apoptisis have to stimulate the tissue or organ regeneration. A mechanism of regeneration that occurs in response of injury now is not clearly elucidated. This article discussing about apoptotic products and its possible effects on injury regeneration.

Abstract
In acute experiments in normotensive cats and rats normotensive and hypertensive the reflectory inhibition of the sympathic nerves upon stimulation of skin and autonomic nerves afferent fibres was studied. It was shown that the reflectory discharge in sympathetic nerves of anesthetized animals is accompanied by subsequent inhibition of their electrical activity. Amplitude of the «silent period» was not connected to sympathetic nervous system activity, but increased after injection of general anestetics to animals. Inhibition of sympathetic nerves electrical activity upon activation of low level afferent fibres is considered to be non-dependent upon preganglionic neurons of spinal cord function.

Abstract
Purpose. The development and validation of experimental setup for the investigation of the process of magnetic nanoparticle (MNP) accumulation in the specific area of the vessel model under the influence of external magnetic field. Materials and methods. Distilled water was used as a model fluid. The water was circulating in the closed loop at a rate of 40-80 L/h. The water was supplemented with magnetite nanoparticle suspension (diameter 7-10 nm) at concentration of 2 mg/ml. The morphology, specific surface area and magnetic properties of MNPs were evaluated. The time to accumulation of MNPs on the inner surface of the tube was recorded after application of constant magnetic field from the Nd magnet (N35) with the dimensions 30x20x10 mm. Results. The technology of MNPs synthesis, as well as their physicochemical properties were described. MNPs were characterized by the needle-like shape and surface area of 95 m2/g. It was shown that 100 % of MNPs from the circulating fluid are concentrated in the area of magnet application within 5 min after turning on the field. The MNPs were predominantly accumulated on the edges of the constant magnet, which is explained by the topography of the magnetic field. Conclusion. We developed the in vitro model setup for investigation of magnetic field-targeted nanoparticle delivery. Two types of MNPs introduction into the system could be used: direct MNPs injection in the circulation or introduction of the nanoparticles using special magnetic probe. The model setup suggested may be useful in studying the effectiveness of magnetically guided MNP transport depending on the volume flow of the fluid, salt composition, and viscosity.

Abstract
A historical and biographical article about scientists and physicians who have made a decisive contribution to the development of the basic ideas in Thyroidology. It covers the circumstances and significance of basic descriptions in the field of Physiology and Pathology of the thyroid gland and biomedical role of iodine in XIX century. Special attention is paid to those of outstanding thyroidologists with dramatic destiny, like K.A. von Basedow. (3 figs.; bibl.: 61 refs).

Abstract
Surgery and rehabilitation difficulties don’t allow to make simple prognosis for newborn with malformations. This article presents own clinical observation of the child with obstructive monoventricular hydrocephalus. The diagnosis was made prenatally and confirmed in the first day of life. Prenatal malformation diagnostics and adequate surgical correction allows to achieve good treatment results.

Abstract
This article is a systematic review of the 10 years that is dedicated to the analysis of the diagnostic efficiency of imaging techniques for detection of cardiac tumors. The main features of both benign and malignant neoplasms of the heart are precisely described in the article. Moreover, it is demonstrated sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography in diagnosis of primary and metastatic cardiac tumors.

Abstract
The review provides a detailed analysis of perfusion MSCT and MRI possibilities in the diagnosis of brain tumors. The major quantitative parameters for perfusion MRI and MSCT are described in detail with comparison of morphological criteria for angiogenesis evaluation as well as the typical pattern of perfusion disturbances and changes in brain tumors before treatment and during follow-up period.

Abstract
Colloidal particles of silica coated iron oxide may be applicable for hyperthermic arterial embolization under the control of nuclear magnetic resonance imaging. In this paper the results of the chemical synthesis of colloidal particles with a mean hydrodynamic radius of 75 nm are presented. The data on the shape of the particles, their magnetostatic characteristics and absorption spectrum in the infrared range was obtained. Basing on the experimental results it was assumed that synthesized colloidal particles are prospective as an agent for arterial embolization by local infrared laser heating.
