Oценить экспрессию гена лептина (LEP) в эпикардиальной (ЭЖТ) и подкожной (ПЖТ) жировой ткани при ишемической болезни сердца (ИБС) с различной тяжестью атеросклероза коронарных артерий.</p></sec><sec><title>Методы</title><p>Методы. Обследовано 107 человек: 87 с ИБС (57 мужчин, 30 женщин), 20 без ИБС (10 мужчин, 10 женщин). Биопсия ЭЖТ, ПЖТ, коронароангиография, компьютерная томография сердца. Уровень лептина крови оценен иммуноферментным методом, экспрессия мРНК гена LEP полимеразной цепной реакции (ПЦР).</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. При ИБС с многососудистым поражением уровень лептина крови наиболее высокий. Экспрессия гена LEP в ЭЖТ у мужчин выше, чем у женщин, у мужчин с ИБС выше, чем без ИБС, при многососудистом поражении коронарного русла выше, чем при одно-, двухсосудистом. Экспрессия гена LEP в ЭЖТ у женщин с ИБС выше, чем без ИБС, не зависит от тяжести коронарного атеросклероза. В ПЖТ экспрессия гена LEP у мужчин с ИБС выше, чем без ИБС; у женщин с ИБС ниже, чем без ИБС. Экспрессия гена LEP в ПЖТ у мужчин с многососудистым поражением выше, чем при одно-, двухсосудистом, а у женщин с многососудистым поражением ниже.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Экспрессия гена лептина у женщин выше в ПЖТ, а у мужчин в ЭЖТ. Экспрессия гена лептина в ЭЖТ при ИБС выше, чем без ИБС. Экспрессия гена лептина в ПЖТ у мужчин с ИБС, особенно при многососудистом поражении, выше, чем без ИБС.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. To assess the expression of the leptin gene (LEP) in the epicardial (EAT) and subcutaneous (SAT) adipose tissue in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients.</p></sec><sec><title>Methods</title><p>Methods. 107 people were examined: 87 with CAD (57 men, 30 women), 20 without CAD (10 men, 10 women). Biopsy of EAT, SAT, coronary angiography, heart computed tomography, blood leptin levels were estimate, mRNA expression of the LEP gene evaluated by PCR.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. In CAD patients with multivessel coronary artery lesion, the level of blood leptin is the highest. The expression of the LEP gene in EAT is higher in men than in women, in men with CAD higher than in non-coronary artery disease patients, and with a multivascular coronary lesion higher than in a 1–2 vascular lesion. Expression of the LEP gene in EAT in women with CAD is higher than with no CAD, and does not depend on the severity of coronary atherosclerosis. In SAT, LEP gene expression in men with CAD is higher than without CAD; women with CAD are lower than without CAD. Expression of the LEP gene in SAT is higher in men with a multivascular lesion than in 1–2 vascular lesion, and lower in women with a multivascular damage.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions. The expression of the leptin gene in women is higher in SAT, and in men in EAT. Expression of the leptin gene in EAT with CAD is higher than without CAD.
